Service Charges:
I aim to provide a reliable and professional property repair and maintenance service, on a one to one basis, that reflects true value for money.
My work will be carried out to the highest possible standard and is fully insured. A minimum of £2M Public Liability Insurance is carried.
All my work wil be guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months from date of completion.
The prices listed below are 'Labour only' charges and vary depending on the catagory of work.
For a free, no obligation quote / estimate in advance, please feel free to call me, or send an enquiry using our contact page and I will be more than happy to provide you with one.
Once a Quotation is provided then I guarantee# not to issue a final invoice that is higher than the original quote - even if the work takes me longer than first estimated, should the said work be completed early, then your final invoice will be adjusted accordingly with a smaller charge for my labour.
# Any additional work/charges will only be added if agreed in advance during the work being carried out.

Rates correct and valid from 1st August 2010. Subject to change at any time. Quotations are valid for 1 calendar month from date of issue.
*First hour - The higher rate applies only to 'Emergency Call-Outs'. There is no call-out charge for quotes or appointments made after accepting a quote.
**Half Day & Full Day charges are reduced only as part of a pre-arranged quote and do not apply to 'Emergency Call-Outs'. For 'Emergency Call-Outs' the charge will continue at the hourly rate from the second hour until completion.
Rates are set according to the level of skill / experience required to complete each task and the level of risk involved - eg: insurance cover for flood damage during plumbing works or knowledge required to carry out electrical tasks etc...
If you find a cheaper quote elsewhere then I will usually be able to beat that quote providing ALL work quoted for would have been carried out to the same specifications and have the same guarantee as offered by myself.

*Payment must have cleared prior to any work being carried out. (Direct Debit takes around 10 days).

The above table is a guide only and may vary. Prices are for labour only. When a job falls into more than one category the labour charges will be calculated accordingly. Although charges will not normally be made for travel costs, there may be additional mileage charges depending on your location. When materials are not supplied by yourself the charge for my supplying them will be trade price (inc VAT) plus an additional 15% to cover my costs when collecting them.
NO VAT WILL BE ADDED TO MY INVOICE FOR ANY OF MY SERVICES OR CHARGES.
